Experience: VP Relationship Manager-From 2004-2014 held
positions of Relationship Manager at these financial institutions-Bank of
the West; Wells Fargo Bank; Key Bank and Zions Bank Main duties include: Managed portfolios of commercial
and industrial business accounts by providing excellent customer service and
becoming a trusted financial advisor. Made countless presentations on new
bank products, set up clients with a variety of bank solutions such as
anti-fraud products, credit card processing, online banking, investment
products, 401k programs for employees, e-payables, money market accounts and
other business related products and services. I also conducted business development activities to
bring in new customer accounts, performed financial analysis, underwriting of
credit proposals (real estate loans, lines of credit, SBA products, etc.) and
I successfully grew each loan portfolio by business development activities of
new and existing accounts. The Wells Fargo portfolio grew from $15 million in
credit commitments to $34.5 million, with corresponding revenue growth from
$600k to $1.2 million, and a customer count increase from 55 to 89. The Zions
Bank portfolio grew from $45 million to $80 million customer count from 28 to
45. With Bank of the West in year one I started with no portfolio accounts
and have opened deposits accounts totaling $24 million and have a pipeline of
$39 million in credit commitments. These customers range in size from the
small business account of $5 million in annual revenue to over $1 Billion
annual revenue, with both domestic and international revenue and with
international offices and employees. In these positions as Relationship Manager I acted as
the “Quarterback” position and have successfully worked with many other
departments in managing these business clients’ needs. Such groups as:
Treasury/Cash Management, Trust Department, Insurance, Private Client
Services Group, Equipment Financing, Swap Group, Investments, etc. I have
also managed a support group of four personnel with Zions Bank to provide the
customer support and assistance needed to manage the $80 million credit portfolio
and $78million deposit balances with those 45 business customers. I have excellent communications skills and have made
hundreds of presentations of products and services to business clients. I
also have completed 150 hours of training in “Conflict Management &
Resolution” to become a certified Mediator (see below) which has sharpened my
communication, people and problem solving skills. Other Finance Experience: Area Manager of Finance and Credit- Fleming
Companies, Inc- Western Region Managed all finance and credit functions for 10
Divisions. Met business owners, assess financial needs, risk assessment,
financial statement analysis, underwrite proposals, prepare pro forma
spreadsheets, review leases, etc. Proposal sizes $50k to $30 million for
multi store operations. Had oversight of the Food Export Group’s credit
function (Pacific Rim and Latin America) with $200 revenues and $3 million
A/R balances for export letters of credit. Management Experience: Accounting Department- Fleming Companies,
Inc.-SLC. Accounts Receivable/ Credit Manager. Responsible for 10 personnel
with $4m A/R and Credit functions of a $250 million annual revenue food
distribution center. Managed customer service matters, monthly GL entries and
balancing accounts, inventory management and other accounting functions. Corporate Credit Manager- Fleming Companies,
Inc.-Oklahoma City Managed Finance department of Fleming (a Fortune 50
company with annual revenues of $20 Billion), over an accountant, secretary,
analyst and collections personnel. Oversight included maintenance of 1,000
loan files of $350 million, $120 million A/R and the audit function of 35
Distribution Centers to ensure conformity with company policies and
procedures. Had dotted line responsibilities of 35 Division Controllers for
all A/R and Finance reporting. Controller/Human Resources Manager & Safety
Manager- Prime Machine. Direct oversight of two personnel, performing all
accounting, financial, cash management, payroll, A/R, A/P and budgeting responsibilities
for a company with annual revenues of $8 million. Had oversight of all safety
issues to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and had oversight of all HR
